Georgi Tatarov played a strong match for Galatasaray HDI Sigorta in their victory over Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye in the final round of the regular season in the Turkish Efeler League. The Istanbul team secured a decisive 3:0(25:21,25:22,25:21) win and finished in third place before the playoffs.

The Bulgarian national player was the top scorer for his team, achieving 16 points and finishing with an excellent +12 efficiency rating. To his tally, he added 1 ace and 2 blocks, demonstrating stability in other elements as well – 41% positive reception and 45% attack efficiency.

Tatarov received solid support from Can Koç with 15 points, Ahmet Tümer with 12, and the German Thomas Jaeschke, who finished with 11 points.
