Dobrudzha returned to efbet Super Volley

Dobrudzha returned to efbet Super Volley after defeating Metalurg (Pernik) 3-0 (25:19, 25:23, 25:19) in the home return leg, thus equalizing the series after a 1-3 loss days earlier. In the decisive "golden set", the Dobrich team prevailed 15-11 and sealed their promotion.

The match was controlled by the hosts, who dictated the pace in the first set and won it 25-19. In the second set, Dobrudzha took a convincing lead, but Metalurg fought back to level the score at 18-18. In the crucial moments, however, the Dobrich team maintained concentration and closed the set 25-23. In the third set, the hosts again showed stability and finished the match 25-19.

Thus, everything was decided in a "golden set", in which Dobrudzha took an 8-4 lead at the change of courts and did not allow a comeback, securing the final 15-11.
Yavor Genov was chosen as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) not only for the final but also for the entire season.

With this success, the team from Dobrich secured its place in the elite league next season, while Metalurg (Pernik), who won the silver medals in the Higher League, will play a playout match against Dunav (Ruse) for a spot in efbet Super Volley.
