After the end of the regular season, attention in the Bulgarian men's championship is now fully focused on the playoff phase. The quarterfinal series in efbet Super Volley 2025/26 kick off on March 21, when the eight best teams will begin their battle for a spot in the semifinals.
Four intriguing clashes will be played in the elimination phase:
Levski Sofia – Montana Volley
Lokomotiv Avia (Plovdiv) – Pirin (Razlog)
Neftochimik 2010 – Deyasport (Burgas)
CSKA – Beroe 2016
Expectations are that the playoffs will offer serious intrigue and high-level volleyball right from the quarterfinals.
What we expect from the quarterfinal series
Levski Sofia – Montana Volley
On paper, Levski Sofia enters the series against Montana Volley as the favorite. The "Blues" were the most convincing team in the regular season and demonstrated stability both in attack and defense with a solid number of saved balls in defense.
Montana, however, is a team with experience in playoff battles and traditionally plays strongly in eliminations, suggesting that the series could be more contested than the standings indicate.
Lokomotiv Avia (Plovdiv) – Pirin (Razlog)
The clash between Lokomotiv Avia and Pirin Razlog is expected to be one of the interesting quarterfinals. The team from Plovdiv enters the series as favorites, but Pirin has already shown that it can cause problems for leading teams.
A good example of this is the team's qualification for the Bulgarian Cup final, and more recently – the victory of the Razlog team over CSKA in the last round of the regular season, which proves that the team has the potential to cause an upset.
Neftochimik 2010 – Dea Sport
The series between Neftochimik 2010 and Dea Sport will offer a Burgas derby, which has all the prerequisites to be one of the most contested in the quarterfinal phase.
The two teams know each other very well and often play evenly matched games, which suggests a long and tense series where every set could be decisive.
CSKA – Beroe 2016
The duel between CSKA and Beroe 2016 also looks interesting. The "Reds" have a more experienced squad and enter as favorites, but the team from Stara Zagora has repeatedly proven that they can be an uncomfortable opponent.
Beroe will try to use every opportunity to cause an upset, especially if they manage to put pressure on CSKA's reception.
