The semifinal pairs in the Demax League women's competition have become clear

The quartet of semi-finalists in our women's championship is now fully clear. Maritsa, CSKA, and Levski have been joined by the CPVC team, which also concluded its quarter-final series in two matches. Thus, in the next phase, we will see two intriguing clashes – the champion against the 'Reds' and a Sofia derby between Levski and CPVC.

Maritsa – Slavia 3:0 (25:12, 25:8, 25:12)
The champions from Maritsa solidified their dominance in the second match against Slavia, leaving no chance for their opponent. The team from Plovdiv completely controlled the game with strong serving and aggressive attacking. In no game did the 'Whites' manage to surpass the 15-point mark, which speaks to the significant class difference. Maritsa enters the semi-finals with impressive confidence and an almost flawless record.

Maritsa 2022 – CSKA 0:3 (16:25, 21:25, 7:25)
CSKA concluded the series with a convincing away victory and demonstrated consistency in their play. The 'Reds' were stable in all elements and set the pace from the start. Only in the second game was there some hesitation, but it did not prove decisive. The third set was under the complete control of the Sofia team and highlighted the difference between the two squads.

Dragoman – Levski 0:3 (16:25, 21:25, 13:25)
Levski also showed class and effortlessly achieved a second success in their series against Dragoman. The 'Blues' dominated with more effective attacking and better defensive organization. Unlike the first match, this time the opponent failed to take a game. Levski appears stable and ready for the more serious challenges ahead.

Minior (Pernik) – CPVC 1:3 (24:26, 21:25, 25:19, 20:25)
CPVC became the last semi-finalist after winning the second match against Minior as a guest in Pernik. The match was significantly more contested than the first, with the hosts showing character, especially in the third game, which they won. In crucial moments, however, the 'police' team was more focused and effective, which brought them the final success and concluded the series with a 2:0 victory.

A Look at the Semi-finals
The clash between Maritsa and CSKA is expectedly drawing attention, pitting championship class against the ambition of the 'Reds'. In the other semi-final, Levski will face CPVC in an all-Sofia duel, which promises a more evenly matched battle. The series will be played to three victories out of five possible matches, implying tactical depth and significant physical strain for all participants.
