A stable trio of Dimitrov-Vulchinov-Zlatanov leads Ravenna to victory in Catania

Ravenna secured a valuable away victory against Catania with a 3:1 score (25:27, 25:16, 25:17, 25:16). After dramatically losing the first set, they took the initiative and dominated until the end of the match. With this success, the team drew level with Brescia for third place with 47 points and closed to within just three points of leaders Prata and Pineto.

The Bulgarian nationals also made an important contribution to the success. Hristiyan Dimitrov scored 12 points and finished the match with 41% attack efficiency, scoring key points in the fourth set when Ravenna definitively broke their opponent. Catania managed to win the first set after a contested battle, but then Ravenna stabilized their game and, with a stronger block and more effective attack, controlled the match's development in the subsequent three sets.
